Privacy Policy

Last Updated: October 11, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Tadka Talent collects, uses, stores, discloses, and otherwise handles information when you visit our website, create or use an account, post or apply for jobs, communicate with other users, purchase paid services, or otherwise use our platform and related services.

By accessing or using Tadka Talent, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and any other policies or notices that apply to particular features of the platform.

Tadka Talent is primarily designed to connect job seekers with restaurants, hospitality businesses, employers, and other hiring organizations in the United States.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide directly to us, information generated through your use of the platform, and certain technical information collected automatically when you access our services.

When you create or maintain an account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, account type, location, login and account information, and other details necessary to provide and secure your account. You may also create an account using Google, Facebook, or LinkedIn sign-in where offered; in that case, the provider shares basic profile information (such as your name and email address) with Tadka Talent to set up your account.

Job seekers may provide professional information including employment history, job titles, work experience, skills, cuisine experience, education, certifications, resumes, salary expectations, availability, current job-search status, and other information they choose to include in their profile.

Employers and businesses may provide information such as a business or restaurant name, logo, description, location, contact information, website, social-media links, job listings, hiring requirements, business images, and other information used to create and maintain an employer profile.

We may also collect information about how you use Tadka Talent, including jobs viewed, applications submitted, candidates viewed, jobs or candidates saved, searches performed, messages exchanged, notifications, reports, purchases, and interactions with other platform features.

Public and Profile Information

Certain information you provide to Tadka Talent is intended to be visible to other users or to the public.

For example, job listings, employer profiles, business information, and certain portions of job-seeker profiles may be visible to employers, candidates, visitors, or search engines depending on the feature and applicable privacy settings. A job seeker’s private contact details, resume, and salary expectations are not shown to the public — they become visible only to an employer once the applicable visibility rules for that information are met (for example, an employer viewing a candidate who has chosen to make salary expectations visible to employers).

Job seekers should only include information in their profile or resume that they are comfortable sharing with potential employers or other authorized users.

Information that has already been viewed, downloaded, copied, or otherwise received by another user may remain in that user’s possession even after you modify or delete your Tadka Talent account.

Applications and Employment Information

When you apply for a job or make your professional profile available to employers, information associated with your profile or application may be provided to the relevant employer, which may include your name, employment history, professional experience, skills, availability, location, education, certifications, and other information you have chosen to provide.

Resumes you upload are stored securely and are accessible to you, to Tadka Talent administrators, and to an employer once you apply to one of their job listings — an employer only gains access to your resume for a candidate who has actually applied to one of their own jobs, not through general candidate search or browsing. If an employer’s chosen application method takes place outside Tadka Talent (for example, by email or WhatsApp), any information — including a resume — that you choose to share through that outside channel is governed by how that channel and the receiving party handle it, not by this Policy.

Tadka Talent provides tools that help employers and job seekers connect, but we do not control how an employer handles information after it has lawfully received that information.

Users should not place highly sensitive information such as Social Security numbers, banking credentials, passwords, full financial information, or other unnecessary confidential information in a resume, job listing, profile, or message.

Messages and Communications

Tadka Talent provides messaging tools that allow users to communicate with one another.

Messages are not intended to be publicly displayed. However, we may store and process communications as necessary to provide the messaging service, deliver notifications, maintain security, investigate reports, prevent fraud or misuse, enforce our Terms of Service, provide customer support, or comply with applicable law.

We may also process communications that you send directly to us through our contact form, support channels, email addresses, or other customer-service features.

Location Information

Tadka Talent collects location information that you enter manually, such as a city, state, ZIP code, job location, or business address.

Certain features may also allow you to use your browser or device location, such as “My Location” when searching for nearby jobs, or the interactive jobs map. We access device location only when you use one of these specific features, and only after your browser or device has granted the necessary permission.

You may disable device-location access through your browser or operating-system settings. Certain location-based features may not work properly if location permission is disabled.

We do not continuously track your location — device location is accessed only at the moment you use a feature that requires it.

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit or use Tadka Talent, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information.

This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, referring website, pages visited, timestamps, session information, interaction data, diagnostic information, and similar technical information.

We also use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security service that runs when you submit our contact form, to help confirm the request is coming from a real person and reduce spam.

We use this information to operate the website, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, measure performance, understand usage patterns, and improve our services.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate, maintain, protect, and improve Tadka Talent and to provide the services requested by our users.

This includes creating and managing accounts, displaying professional and employer profiles, enabling job search and candidate discovery, processing applications, providing messaging and notifications, maintaining saved jobs and candidates, operating employer and job-seeker dashboards, processing paid features, providing customer support, enforcing our policies, detecting fraud or misuse, improving search and platform functionality, and complying with legal obligations.

We may also use information to personalize or improve a user’s experience, recommend relevant content or opportunities, communicate service-related information, and develop new features or improvements.

Email and Other Communications

We send emails and other communications related to your account and use of Tadka Talent. These include account verification, password-reset messages, new-application notifications (to employers), job-moderation notices, and other transactional communications tied directly to your account activity.

We may also send marketing, promotional, newsletter, or product-related communications where permitted by applicable law and where you have not opted out. Your account settings include a marketing-communications preference; where required, users will be provided with a method to unsubscribe.

Unsubscribing from promotional communications does not prevent us from sending important account, security, transaction, legal, or service-related messages.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

Tadka Talent uses cookies to operate the website — for example, to authenticate you and keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and protect against fraud. These are necessary for the site to function and are not optional.

We also use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used. At this time, Tadka Talent does not display a cookie-consent banner, and analytics cookies are not gated behind a consent choice. If this changes, or if applicable law requires consent before using certain non-essential cookies for users in a particular location, we will update this Policy and add the appropriate consent or preference-management controls before that processing begins for those users.

Analytics and Performance Services

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how Tadka Talent is used. This service may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and interaction data. Google Analytics may derive an approximate location from your IP address as part of its own standard reporting.

We use this information to understand how Tadka Talent is used, diagnose technical problems, improve usability and performance, and develop our services. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, resume, or message contents to Google Analytics.

The specific analytics and performance providers we use may change over time as our platform develops.

Advertising and Google AdSense

Tadka Talent does not currently display advertising, but we may use Google AdSense or other third-party advertising services in the future.

If advertising services are enabled, Google or other advertising providers may use cookies, advertising identifiers, device information, and similar technologies to deliver advertisements, measure advertising performance, prevent fraud, limit repeated advertisements, and, where permitted, provide personalized advertising.

Advertising providers may process information in accordance with their own privacy policies and legal obligations. Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notices, consent controls, or opt-out mechanisms before enabling advertising cookies or personalized advertising.

Tadka Talent does not control the independent privacy practices of third-party advertising providers.

Payments

Tadka Talent uses Stripe to process payments for certain paid features, including Featured Jobs.

When you make a payment, payment-card and related payment information is submitted directly to Stripe or otherwise processed through Stripe’s payment infrastructure. We do not directly store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes.

We retain limited transaction-related information such as the amount paid, payment status, date of purchase, transaction identifier, account associated with the purchase, and the product or service purchased.

If you delete your account, we may keep a limited record of each payment after deletion: the transaction and payment identifiers, amount, currency, service purchased, purchase and service dates, and payment, refund, or dispute status. We keep it for accounting, refunds, chargebacks, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and our legal obligations. This record is no longer linked to your account or profile and does not include your name, contact details, or profile content. Payment details collected at checkout, such as the email address you used, remain with Stripe.

Stripe processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy policies and security practices.

How We May Disclose Information

We may disclose information when necessary to provide Tadka Talent’s services or operate our business.

For example, professional information may be made available to employers where appropriate, and employer or job information may be displayed to job seekers or visitors.

We may also provide information to service providers that perform services on our behalf or support our operations, including our hosting provider (Railway), database and authentication provider (Supabase), email-delivery provider (Resend), payment processor (Stripe), analytics provider (Google Analytics), and security services (Cloudflare Turnstile). These providers may process information only as permitted by their agreements with us, their own applicable policies, and applicable law.

We may also preserve or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, lawful government requests, protect the safety or rights of users, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our agreements, defend legal claims, or protect Tadka Talent and its services.

Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Certain privacy laws may define terms such as “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” more broadly than the ordinary meaning of selling information for money. For example, certain advertising technologies may be considered “sharing” under some laws even if no money is exchanged for personal information.

If our activities become subject to laws that require an opt-out mechanism for such processing, we will provide the required method for users to exercise that right.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain accounts, complete transactions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security, enforce our agreements, and operate our business.

Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information, how it is used, and whether we have a legal or legitimate reason to retain it.

Certain information may remain in security logs, transaction records, fraud-prevention records, legal records, or other systems for a reasonable period after an account has been deleted.

Account and Data Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from your account Settings page. This permanently removes your account and associated profile information from our active systems.

Some information may be retained after deletion when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, accounting, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, or other legitimate business purposes. This includes limited transaction and payment records, as described under Payments, and a minimal record that an account was deleted (the account type and the date) that contains no name, email address, or profile information.

Accounts created with an email address and password must be verified by email. If an account is not verified within 7 days of sign-up, we delete it automatically, after sending reminder emails.

Information that has already been provided to or obtained by another user (for example, an employer you applied to) may not necessarily be removed from that user’s own records when you delete your account.

You may also contact us regarding privacy or data-deletion questions at contact@tadkatalent.com.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information and maintain the security of our systems, including access controls, authentication measures, database protections, encrypted communications, and monitoring.

However, no website, network, database, or method of transmitting information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials, using appropriate passwords, and notifying us if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.

Users Between 16 and 18 Years of Age

Tadka Talent is intended for individuals who are at least 16 years old.

Users under 18 should use the platform only where they are legally permitted to seek employment and use online employment services in their jurisdiction. Employment eligibility, working-hour restrictions, parental-consent requirements, and other rules affecting minors may vary by state or location.

Tadka Talent does not technically verify a user’s age and does not determine or guarantee whether a particular user under 18 is legally permitted to perform a specific job. Employers remain responsible for complying with applicable employment, child-labor, age-verification, and hiring laws.

We do not knowingly permit children under 16 to create accounts. If we become aware that information was collected from a child under 16 contrary to this Policy or applicable law, we may take reasonable steps to remove the information and terminate the account.

A parent or legal guardian who believes that a child under 16 has provided information through Tadka Talent may contact us at contact@tadkatalent.com.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may have certain rights regarding personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, where those laws apply to us or to a particular processing activity.

Depending on applicable law, these rights may include requesting information about the personal information we collect, requesting access to certain information, requesting correction or deletion, receiving information about certain disclosures, and opting out of certain uses of information that qualify as sale or sharing under California law.

We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights that are available to them under applicable law.

As noted above, we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

If our advertising or data practices become subject to a California requirement to provide an opt-out mechanism, we will provide the required method for submitting such a request and, where legally required, respond to recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

California privacy requests may be submitted to contact@tadkatalent.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify a requester’s identity before fulfilling a request.

International Privacy Rights

Tadka Talent is primarily intended for users and businesses located in the United States.

However, if privacy laws such as the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, United Kingdom GDPR, or similar laws apply to our processing of a user’s information, we will provide rights and protections required by those laws.

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, restrict certain processing, object to certain processing, request data portability, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and lodge a complaint with an applicable data-protection authority.

Where applicable, our legal bases for processing may include providing services under a contract with the user, pursuing legitimate interests such as security and platform improvement, complying with legal obligations, and obtaining consent where consent is required.

Privacy requests concerning these rights may be submitted to contact@tadkatalent.com.

Third-Party Websites and Services

Tadka Talent may contain links to third-party websites, employer websites, social-media platforms, external application methods, payment services, or other online services.

We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their privacy practices, security, content, or handling of personal information.

Users should review the privacy policies of third parties before providing personal information directly to them.

Business Transfers

If Tadka Talent or the business operating it is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction where permitted by law.

Any successor or acquiring organization may receive information subject to applicable privacy obligations.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services, business practices, technology, legal obligations, or third-party services change.

When we update the Policy, we will revise the “Last Updated” date shown at the top of the page.

If a change materially affects how we handle personal information or users’ legal rights, we may provide additional notice where required by law.
